Absolutely amazing pizza! Brought visiting family (total food critics) and they had nothing but good things to say! From the hostess, to our waitress all the way down the line we received the best service and enjoyed some amazing pizza. Not to mention you get a great riverside view if you sit on their balcony! Will be returning.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful with a great patio. However the pizza we ordered had zero flavor. The sauce on the pizza and the crust had very little seasoning if any. And the onions on top were still crunchy and basically raw. For a place that seems to be known for their pizza we were not impressed.
Good service here. The all you can eat pizza bar is really good value. I just wish they did it on weekends as well.
We've been to a few other Beau Jo's in Colorado and this one ties Idaho Springs for being the best. They brought out our pizza in record time and it was awesome! It was really nice being able to dine outside along the river.
I received my mountain pie only to find that the crust was not even close to being cooked. It was still mostly raw dough. The other two people at my table did not have any issue with their pizza. I took my pizza to one of the staff who said that it is definitely still raw anf she would take it back to the kitchen. I sat waiting for my pizza for what seemed an eternity while the rest of the group finished their meals while I was waiting... My pizza finally arrived and I checked the crust only to find that the mountain pie crust was still raw dough on the inside... The portion of the pizza with the toppings on it was cooked enough and I did not feel like waiting any more so I ate that portion... I went back to the staff person and showed them the raw crust and they apologized and said they would talk to their manager and he would make it right. The manager showed up and said he gave us a discount. He said that he had no idea how it happened and that it was the first time tonight and that sometimes stuff like this just happens... He did not come across as overly concerned or sincerely apologetic. Anyone that has been here knows that the pizza is not cheap. $10 off on a $20 pizza of which I did not get to enjoy the crust is more of a slap in the face than "making it right" . this was my first visit to this location and I am unimpressed.
