I love popping into Mountain Home every time I'm in Evergreen. Their furniture is tasteful and unique. I've seen pieces in the store that I've never seen anywhere else. I always walk out with an interesting decorative piece for my house. And I have to be restrained when they have their Christmas decorations out. The staff is so friendly and they always make me feel like I'm part of the family, which is hard to come by in most big stores. I love Mountain Home!!

As a long-time Evergreen resident (46 years) I have loved watching the evolution of this store from “The Hardware" to "Mountain Home." Housed in one of the historic barns from Hiwan Homestead days, this store has always been a top-notch business, owned and managed by the same family for many years. It’s always a great place to look for furnishings with a mountain flair to finding just the right small gifts for almost any occasion. It seems the buyers work hard to look for new and interesting items to keep the store up-to-date, fresh and fun. I always love stopping by to see what’s new, and I love recommending it to visiting out-of towners.
I just went for the first time since I recently moved to the area. I absolutely love it and I completely expect to become a regular customer. The furnishings are perfect for a large mountain home and include spectacular and tasteful statement pieces.
